Your souring on Once & Future shenanigans makes significantly more sense with this context. I didn’t know anything about all the reprints (and it’s ludicrous for a book to have literally launched two days ago to have 3 more reprints already – that should all be the first reprint). The one “thank you” variant I still don’t have any issues with, but everything else you lay out here I agree is unfortunate. Also unfortunate: you not having read this excellent comic yet!

I haven’t bought a Deadpool comic for years (last I can think of was the Gambit v Deadpool mini, and that was as much due to Acker & Blacker teaming up than anything else), but I am really considering adding this one to the pull. That is a killer creative team for my tastes.

Re: HoX & PoX, I will say it’s nice that the issues are only $5 rather than $6. Can’t speak to the release rhythm given my shop’s Diamond-driven failure to deliver, but I definitely think the story would suffer if it were stretched out over the course of half a year.

Funny to me is that I didn’t realize until yesterday that the order is not House alternating with Powers every week. We’re about to get Powers again, followed by two Houses.

I just realized that late last week, which totally threw off my podcasting schedule! (I was supposed to do a midseason update on HoX/PoX and I based that off Powers of X #3 coming out this week, when the real midpoint is next week!)

And yet it’s been painstakingly laid out for us from issue one! If we missed that, I can’t imagine what else I wasn’t careful enough to catch.
