The Pull: A Look at the Comics Dropping the Week of September 15th

A heavy week gets an unusual book of the week. Let’s look at that and more in this week’s edition of The Pull.

Book of the Week: Primordial #1

Here’s a thing: I am 100% going to read Primordial. It’s Jeff Lemire, Andrea Sorrentino and Dave Stewart, the team behind Gideon Falls. It’s an alternate history space story, which, as a person who just watched and LOVED For All Mankind, is very much up my alley right now. Those two make it an easy sell. It’s going to be read, and I am very excited for that.

But I might trade wait it!

I already trade waited Gideon Falls, so that’s the cadence I’m used to with when it comes to this team. Primordial is a six issue mini-series, so it’s just one trade to wait. It just makes sense. And I think it’s worth noting that waiting for trade is not an indication that I (or anyone who chooses to do so) is any less excited for a comic. Sometimes it’s just the way it works. And I’m excited to read Primordial in whatever format I end up reading it in! It looks and sounds great, and this team is elite.
