Thanks to one of the sponsor of this week’s podcast: 2000 AD! Next year, 2000 AD is cutting the Law down to size! As Judge Dredd celebrates fifty years of publication in 2027, now is the time to read his stories from the beginning. Printed in compact size, each volume is filled with the sharp satire, keen wit, and all-out action Dredd is known for. Each volume costs only $12.99, with a new volume releasing every month in 2027 – so you can keep your Law in Order! So, what are you waiting for, citizen? Pre-order volume one today – and make 2027 the year of Dredd!

Thanks to another of the show’s sponsors, Oni Press! To save him…they had to damn him! In the bloodstained tradition of Afterlife with Archie, something wicked this way comes to Riverdale in an infernal new ongoing series from multi-time Eisner Award nominee Patrick Horvath and Russ Manning Award winner Tyler Crook. An ancient order of cultists has infiltrated Riverdale and its townspeople, bent on using human sacrifice to usher a demon lord into our mortal plane. And they’ve finally identified the target they need to bring a century’s worth of planning to fruition: Archie Andrews. But this secret cabal never dreamed that witches roam Riverdale’s streets….and when cult and coven clash in the final stages of Archie’s ritual sacrifice, the consequences will be cosmic….and Archie Andrews will find himself damned to something far worse than Hell’s inner circle. Archie in Hell descends into comic stores on November 4th.

Lastly, thanks to the show’s final sponsor in IDW. This September, IDW brings you digital immortality, monster-sized destruction, and the book that started Turtlemania! On September 9th, death gets a subscription fee in FOREVR. When Brenda’s dying mother uploads her consciousness into a revolutionary new app, saying goodbye becomes a lot more complicated. From award-winning cartoonist Brian “Box” Brown comes a funny, unsettling vision of tomorrow that feels just a little too possible. Then on September 23rd, Hey! we’re smashin’ here! Godzilla Vs. America: New York City brings the King of the Monsters crashing into the city that built comics. It’s packed with New York attitude, legendary landmarks, and kaiju-sized destruction from an all-star lineup of NYC comics talent. Also on September 23rd, go back to where Turtlemania began with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Mirage Years 1984–1987—IDW Classic Collections. It’s the incredible beginning of all things Turtles, all in one pocket-sized edition that’s just $13.99. Want those books and more? Stop by your local comic shop or bookstore today!
