Off Panel LIVE!: The Mount Rushmore of Comics Everyone Should Read from Lexington Comic Con
We’re finally getting to the last live podcast recorded at one of my con adventures from late August and early September, as I was joined by writer/artist Kyle Starks, artist Liana Kangas, and Near Mint Condition’s Omar Valdivieso at the amazing Lexington Comic Con to share our Mount Rushmore of Comics Everyone Should Read. Basically, the premise of this is simple: Each person was tasked with sharing four comics that they believe everyone should read, but there were no rules! These didn’t need to be aimed at all-ages or anything. They just needed to be comics that we each rep hard for and believe would be a good gateway for comic readers.
Considering that very welcoming premise, this panel — which also included us talking about our gateway comics and the challenging nature of the medium — gets surprisingly spicy! Maybe that shouldn’t be a surprise because it prominently features one Kyle Starks, but it goes places!

As with the other two, because these episodes are way different than typical Off Panel podcasts, this is going to be another special episode that’s at least initially exclusive to SKTCHD subscribers and Off Panel patrons. You can listen to it after the break of this post if you’re a subscriber, and if you’re not…well, maybe you should be.
