A small week! My god, I forgot what those were like! What a wonder! Let’s look at the week that is in The Pull.

Book of the Week: X of Swords: Stasis #1

This is one of the three big pillars of the X of Swords crossover, so of course it’s going to be Book of the Week. There’s a lot of unease I’ve noticed when it comes to this event, but I’ve come around on it a fair bit because of the inherently necessary nature of the gathering of the swords stories (although I do wonder if the Wolverine story needed to be a two parter). That said, whether this crossover ends up being a good but forgettable story or a stone cold classic relies on these three big one-shots. With Jonathan Hickman, Tini Howard, Pepe Larraz and Mahmud Asrar onboard, I’m confident we’ll get there, especially after how great the previous Creation one-shot was. We’ll see on Wednesday.
