The Pull: A Look at the Comics Dropping the Week of March 18th
It’s a big week, as comics hit the Next Level and I make some notable changes. So, let’s dig into the week’s releases, as I highlight my buys, recommendations, and curiosities from the week of comics in another edition of The Pull.

Comic of the Week: Deathstroke: The Terminator #1
This spot was between Deathstroke and its Next Level pal Lobo, but tie goes to the one I haven’t read already. I am not historically a giant Deathstroke fan — I like him just fine, just not typically as a lead — but Tony Fleecs has a great plan for this book and Carmine Di Giandomenico is a great artist. I’m really excited to see what they have in store for us with this debut, I suspect it’ll be a good one.

Trade/Graphic Novel of the Week: G.I. Joe Vol. 3
It’s official: I’m switching to trade on G.I. Joe. Now, I do want to that it’s not because I don’t like this series. It’s a good book. It’s just I fell behind on reading and my shop ended not getting enough copies of two different issues, so my read is broken up, ensuring I fell even further behind. That makes this a somewhat accidental drop. But I do still want to read the series, which is why I’m now switching to trades. I’m here for that Tom Reilly and Jordie Bellaire art, and The Dreadnok War storyline seemed like a whole lot of fun based on what I read.
It’s a good book and I’m sticking with it, just in a different format.
