The Pull: A Look at the Comics Dropping the Week of August 26th

We’re in the eye of the storm, as last week was a monster in comic shops and the next one will be enormous as well. So, this edition of The Pull will be a little calmer, but not so calm that there aren’t some very good things in here.

Comic of the Week: Batman: Bad Seeds – Sunset #1

While I’m not reading the whole Batman line right now, I like the idea of the whole Bad Seeds crossover that’s kicking off with this issue. It marries the current storylines for Batman and Poison Ivy into something much bigger while keeping it tight, as the entire storyline takes place over one night in Gotham. I’m very interested to see what this type of crossover looks like in the All In era for DC, and with Matt Fraction, G. Willow Wilson, and Giuseppe Camuncoli leading the way, you know it has a ton of potential.
