Book of the Week: X-Men: The Trial of Magneto #1

My interest in this was considerably higher before word came out about the origins of this title, which was an unfortunate situation for both writer Leah Williams and her partner-in-crime in X-Factor’s artist David Baldeon. Despite that, I’m still interested in this, both because Williams has excelled with these characters and I do enjoy the idea, but also because Valerio Schiti is an absolute art beast. I hope it still accomplishes what Williams was aiming to do, and gives her a chance to give her run on X-Factor the conclusion she apparently and unfortunately was robbed of.
