I have a new rule everyone. House of X and Powers of X cannot be my Book of the Week until each title’s final issue. This will not become a HoX/PoX column each week! So says I!

But there are still plenty of great titles to choose from, so let’s look at all of those in the latest edition The Pull, my column that dissects my buys, recommendations and curiosities from the week of comics.

At this point I have to just be honest with myself and say that whatever HoXPoX issue is out is my book of the week. And @SKTCHD? This one’s gonna be a retroactive book of the week for you.

But this week is EXTREME HYPE MODE:
Lois Lane, Die, Immortal Hulk, and Daredevil!
Super strong week.

I am losing my mind over this but not only did my shop not get in my copy of PoX #1 that was missing last week, they also didn’t have a copy of HoX #2 for me today. I’m sure it’d be my book of the week if I could read it!

What they did have for me today was Lois Lane, Batman, and Dreaming, and that’s a pretty good grouping. City of Bane has me back onboard the hype train, for sure.

They’re the unofficial book of the weeks. I just can’t keep allowing them to be BotW otherwise they’d be that every week! But it was wild good.

I’m just leaning into it for now, but next week has competition with The White Trees dropping and I have no idea where I’ll land with so much goodness.
