The Pull: A Look at the Comics Dropping the Week of November 15th

A lot of high potential picks go the way of trade waiting, but that doesn’t mean headliners are lacking. Let’s take a look at the week of releases, with the whole thing beginning at the end for a favorite of yours truly.

Comic of the Week: Time Before Time #29

Thus ends the MIC — most improved comic — of 2023, as this issue finds this time travel crime series from co-writers Declan Shalvey and Rory McConville, artist Joe Palmer (and a whole bunch of others along the way), colorist Chris O’Halloran, and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou coming to a close. I don’t label it as my MIC as a way to say it was lacking before in any way. It’s just been improving, or at least getting more involved plot-wise, as it’s went along. Where it once was a good book, Time Before Time is concluding at a high point, taking the rare runway offered to it — 29 whole issues! — and using it as a path to becoming a great one. I’m very excited to see where this whole thing ends, as Tatsuo, Nadia, and Kevin’s journey has come a long way, both spatially and temporally. We shall see here! Don’t make me sad, guys!
