Another monster week in comics leads to an incredible competition for the top spot. But in The Pull, my look at my buys, recommendations and curiosities from the week of comics, there can only be one at the top.

Book of the Week: Dead Dudes TP

The totality of the reason I’m in on this is Chris Sebela and Ben Sears are a perfect fit for one another. I don’t even know why, but when I hear it, I just know. Sebela’s someone I’m established as enjoying, but if you don’t know Sears, he’s one of the best cartoonists in the business, and someone whose vibe naturally meshes with Sebela’s. I cannot imagine not enjoying this for those reasons.

That it’s also about some dudes who host a show about hunting ghosts that die in a famously haunted spot, who then become ghosts themselves but ones who have to save their rivals, prove that ghosts exist and save the world, makes it even better. This just seems like a blast. I really can’t wait to read it.
