Book of the Week: Skybound X #1

Normally an anthology celebrating ten years of a publisher wouldn’t move the needle for me, even one like Skybound that has produced a fair few comics I quite enjoy. Normally this would make my maybe list, with intent to buy. Normally normally normally. This isn’t normal.

This features Tillie Walden, cartoonist extraordinaire, telling her first story with Clementine from Telltale’s The Walking Dead series, as well as the first comic appearance of that character. Now, I love Walden’s work. And I am not overstating anything by saying that Clementine is probably a top ten, maybe a top five character in fiction for me. I love that character. Combine those two ideas together, and I am extremely excited for this release, making it my easy book of the week. I truly cannot wait. Let’s do this, Clem and Tillie.
