We’re entering into the Holiday Vortex, as Thanksgiving approaches here in America and Christmas is just around the corner. That makes this a perfect time to do a two-for-one special Mailbag Q&A, one that covers both November and December while delivering a grand finale for 2025’s slate of Mailbags.

Given that there are a fair few new folks around these parts, you might be wondering, “What is a Mailbag Q&A?” That’s simple. It’s a chance for you — the subscribers of SKTCHD and the patrons of Off Panel — to ask me questions that I will answer in a column that runs both on my site and Patreon, and it’s meant to be a great opportunity for you to run things by me and to have a good time with a fun column filled with anything you can imagine.

And when I say anything you can imagine, I truly mean it. These Q&As are wide open endeavors, as I accept questions about all topics. Most naturally orient on what I do on the site and podcast. There are lots of questions about the comic medium and its industry. There are plenty about my work on SKTCHD and Off Panel. But I’m really open to anything. Last time there were lots of questions about SKTCHD 3.0 and the new era for the site, but I also regularly get questions about subjects like sports (particularly the NBA), TV shows or movies (Slow Horses is regularly featured), video games, or topical subjects like…I don’t know, favorite Thanksgiving dishes or my all-time Christmas presents (whether that’s giving or receiving). I’m down with whatever.
