Hey! It’s a New Month, So Let’s Do a March/April Mailbag Q&A, Shall We?

It’s a new month (well, new-ish, as we’re just under two weeks in), which means it’s time for yet another column in which you — the wonderful subscribers of SKTCHD and patrons of Off Panel — ask me questions for me to answer in an often expansive read. That’s right, it’s time for the March/April Mailbag Q&A!

For those who are new here — and there are a great many of you of late, so hello! — these columns hearken back to when Bill Simmons used to actually write, and as part of that, he’d answer a ton of reader questions in the form of a massive Mailbag column. Like with Simmons, though, my Mailbags don’t exclusively focus on the thing I typically write about. While plenty of reader/listener questions are about the medium and industry of comics or what I do on SKTCHD and Off Panel, I’d say somewhere between 20 to 40% of them are not.

What are they about? Anything, really! Hoops and the wider world of sports are a constant. So are movies, video games, and TV shows. But it often expands well beyond the worlds of entertainment. Curious for my take on Bam Adebayo’s 83 point game? Want to get my takes on this season of The Pitt? Dying to get my Mount Rushmore of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at? All of that is on the table, if you so desire. The world is your oyster, as long as you know going in that no oyster bar will be on that Mount Rushmore (although I did have some incredible ones on Miyajima Island in Japan once).

Participating is easy. Have a question? Or questions? You can get it to me by adding said question to the comments of this post, emailing me at david@SKTCHD.com, or hitting me up on my varying social media channels (that’s Instagram and Bluesky these days). I’m down with whatever, and I’ll just need your questions in by April 1st if you’d like me to answer them — and that’s no joke! These columns are always fun, though, so hit me up and let’s make some magic happen!
