Now Accepting Questions for a July/August Mailbag Q&A!

Things are getting rather busy over here in the SKTCHD offices, as I prepare for my big trip to San Diego to confront my fate at the Eisner Awards. But as they say, the show must go on, which means it’s time for another Mailbag Q&A for July and August!

There have been quite a few new subscribers and patrons of late thanks to the robust slate I’ve been rolling out on the site and podcast, so I thought it’d be useful to reintroduce this concept. What is a Mailbag Q&A? Well, it’s pretty simple! It’s a chance for you, a subscriber of SKTCHD and/or patron of Off Panel, to ask me any question (or questions) you might have, and then I answer them in an often super-sized column on the site later on.

The questions can be about anything you want. Typically they connect to the medium or industry of comics, or what I do on SKTCHD or Off Panel. But really, they run the gamut, as people will often ask about sports, TV shows, movies, or whatever. So, if you want some hyperspecific thoughts about San Diego Comic Con (or comic comics in general), my Apple TV series power rankings, how I’m feeling about the NBA offseason, my takes on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, whether I think a trained dog could actually dunk a basketball like Air Bud, or whatever, I’m here for you. There’s no question too silly!

That said, my usual caveat of “if it’s a question that’s so big it has to be an article for SKTCHD,” I reserve the right to do just that. But you should consider that a compliment, because that means I really, really dig your question and have a lot of thoughts about it. This rarely happens, but it’s worth noting!

Have a question? Or questions?! Hit me up in the comments or email me at david@SKTCHD.com by Friday, August 7th and I’ll get it in the mix. The point of this is to have a good time, so send me some questions and let’s have some fun with it!
