The Pull: A Look at the Comics Dropping the Week of October 9th

It’s a double comic week for me, as I was in New York for NYCC and wasn’t able to pick up my books because of it. That’s a good thing, though! More comics is always fun. But even in a double sized week, there’s only one choice for Book of the Week. Let’s get to that and more in The Pull, my look at my buys, recommendations and curiosities from the week of comics.

Book of the Week: Powers of X #6

No other comic could possibly be here. Nothing is exciting me more right now in comics than House of X and Powers of X, and it all ends here. I don’t want it to, but it’s going to whether I want it to or not.

What’s going to happen? I have no idea. Something magical, I’d wager. With Jonathan Hickman, RB Silva, Marte Gracia and friends onboard and Moira on the cover, this final red issue and actually any kind of issue of this larger story should be a doozy. What else is there to say about this series? I love it, but also don’t want it to go. Let’s make this last forever, Johnny Hicks!
