Chip Chat Vol. 4: ARMAGEDDON!

It’s time for the big one folks: Chip Chat turns its attention to ARMAGEDDON!

But, you know, the good type of Armageddon. As in the upcoming Marvel event Avengers: Armageddon that Chip Zdarsky is writing, which has its first issue on final order cutoff on April 20th before arriving in comic shops everywhere on June 10th. In this month’s Chip Chat, we dig into the origins of the project, what makes a line-wide event, the old and new characters in its pages, building from different projects, the magic of it all (not the Magic of it all, though), and a whole lot more, with all this of course following a discussion about that wild trailer Zdarsky and friends made for MAD About DC. It is, as per usual, a blast.

Each Chip Chat will publish on the SKTCHD YouTube as a video series, but only SKTCHD subscribers will get access to the transcribed version of each conversation, one that’s been edited for length and clarity. And now, I have an additional bonus for you all. Subscribers also get access to audio-only versions of these chats, so, if you’re like, “no thank you!” to videos — whether they feature Chip and I or not — then I have good news for you: You can read or listen to these interviews if you subscribe to SKTCHD, and only if you subscribe!

That’s enough of that. Let’s get to the end of the world, Chip Zdarsky-style.
