Well, folks, SKTCHD and Off Panel are fully operational once again after a very rewarding, very relaxing, and very productive (sorry not sorry) two weeks off, one that culminated in…an Eisner Award nomination?

That’s right, SKTCHD is again nominated for the Best Comics-Related Periodical/Journalism category alongside some amazing nominees, making this the second time in three years. That also means I’ll be heading to San Diego Comic Con, which should be a whole lot of fun, even if I’ll be nervous as all get out throughout the entire Eisner Awards ceremony. Thanks to everyone for joining me on this ride — whether that’s through SKTCHD or Off Panel, as I consider Off Panel a part of SKTCHD — and here’s hoping for some even cooler news in July.

But that’s for later and this is now, and we’re here for something entirely different: another Mailbag Q&A for May and June! That’s right, we’re running it back, and for newcomers around these parts, these Mailbag Q&As are opportunities for you — a SKTCHD subscriber or an Off Panel patron — to ask me whatever questions you might have for me to answer in a giant-sized column.

What can they be about? Anything! Have a question about the medium or industry of comics? Sure! Wonder how I do something related to SKTCHD or Off Panel, or how it all really works? I have answers. Curious about my feelings related to the Eisner nomination? I have them ready to share. Or if you’d prefer to go in a wildly different direction that might include my thoughts on my now complete runthrough of the four main Uncharted games, the bizarre and wonderful Widow’s Bay on Apple TV, or how I responded to my beloved Indiana Pacers losing their draft pick in the recent draft lottery, I certainly can help with that, or with any question related to any other subject really.

The only caveat with these Mailbags is the typical one. If the question is too big, I might shift it to become its own piece, simply because these Mailbags are meant to be reasonably digestible questions for me to answer. That’s not to say you should restrain yourself by any means, but I wanted to make sure that was known.

Submitting your question or questions is easy, and I wanted to say thank you to the fine folks who have already submitted questions for this one before I even put up this call for them. Clearly they recognize how I do things! But all you have to do to submit your question is to add them to the comments of this post or email me at david@SKTCHD.com and I’ll get it in the mix. I’ll just need all the questions by Sunday, June 7th, so that’s your officially official deadline. Any later and it will likely be pushed to the next Mailbag Q&A, whenever that may be.
